Spring Kick Off - Overland Park Pond 3/20/2021

This is a little bit of information that I have on Overland Park Ponds, this was gathered from a book titled  "Denver and Boulder Fishing Close to Home".  The  location is north of Florida Ave. between S Santa Fe Dr. and South River Trail, with parking just north of Florida Ave.  The pond is 1 acre and roughly 7 ft deep. It is managed by Denver Parks and Recreation, and is stocked with Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, Bullhead and Crappie. The park is open from 5am to 11 pm daily. there are no boats allowed, and they have a fly casting pad on the south shore. the pond is also bordered by a hard surface trail.

 I would try a micro leech pattern ,crawdad pattern or maybe rig a hopper and trail a micro leech behind it . Don't Forget to RSVP on the club member Facebook page if planning to attend. Your name will be put in to the drawing for club swag, but you must be there to win .
