HPD Goes Chasing Big Brown Trout in Arkansas

High Plains Drifters is going after big brown trout in Arkansas.
Our first hosted trip of 2027 takes HPD members to the White River and White River Trout Club, March 10–14, 2027. The White is famous for big brown trout, long stretches of productive water, and fishing that rewards anglers who stay focused all day.
This is a complete hosted experience: four nights at the lodge, three full guided fishing days from jet-powered skiffs, catered dining, coordinated airport-to-lodge transportation within the published travel window, and time together after each day on the water.
The fishing
We will fish Thursday through Saturday with the White River Trout Club guide team. Their jet-powered skiffs are designed for the river and allow the guides to cover productive water efficiently. Each day’s plan will follow river conditions, the current bite, and the goals of the anglers in the boat.
