Although fishing has been part of his life for decades, retirement has finally given him the opportunity to become completely serious about it—and for the past four years, fly fishing has received his full attention.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCary will be rowing his 13-foot Outcast fishing raft by AIRE. He may not call himself a professional boat captain, but after a decade of whitewater kayaking and guiding whitewater rafting trips in his younger years, he can comfortably navigate rapids up to Class IV. His rowing skills are solid, although he admits his crab stroke could still use a little work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCary also spent time competing with Fly Fishing Team USA, so he understands tournament pressure and the importance of catching as many fish as possible within a limited amount of time. His goal is simple: work hard, position you in productive water, and help put fish on your scorecard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe encourages you to bring your own rod and the confidence flies you trust most. However, Cary will also arrive with approximately ten fly boxes—give or take a few—so you will have plenty of backup options.
